I was bored this evening, and when I'm bored (and a bit lonely) I get the urge to bake. So I took a peak through the cupboard and found a bag of dried fruit. Great! I can make some sort of squares! There was even whole wheat flour and oatmeal. So I quickly googled a recipe for date squares and set to work.
Now they are bubbling and browning away in the oven...but there is a little problem. Just as I was cleaning up and throwing out the empty bag.....I discovered it sad figs. Hmmm....I made date squares....with figs.....hmmmmm.....
I guess I'll find out in about 25 minutes whether this was a fatal error or not.
