Hello 2008!

It is officially 2008 - because I wrote it on a chart today. And so it must be true. Charts never lie.

As for a resolution - I have completely outdone myself this year. BY FAR the best one I have ever come up with. "I shall own more power tools". Yup, I love it. It's perfect. And it reflects well the last week of my life where I decided I don't like my kitchen cabinets, and so I went to Home Depot (in my heels of course, its the only way to go, ensures no one will bother you to try to help because they are too busy wondering why the hell you are so weird) bought tools and wood and started renovating :)

As for work - I now have baby clerks! I love them. They are so cute and naive and I get to mold their fragile little minds. Or is that mould? It might be both. It does mean that I have to step up a notch and start teaching....which I love....but which requires preparation each night. And I think we all know what preparation means - hours and hours on msn talking about how I should be doing homework without actually doing it, and then writing blogs, and poems, to justify my time.

Diabetes teaching - in Haiku:
Where are my markers?
Homework needs colour to live.
Motivation gone.

And so went my evening! Multiple dance breaks, two clementines, NO TV (*insert shocked face here*), lots of iTunes music, and a whole office full of resources on Diabetes. And its got me thinking - even if 2008 came in like a Lion....its looking pretty good from my point of view.

Lots of love
Pamela
