Where does the time go? How is it February already???
I have just spent the most fabulous 4 weeks working in Palliative Care. I could drone on for literally days about how much I love this field, how rewarding it is, and all the cool stories, but I'll spare you. But now I'm back into my whirling dervish mode - driving back and forth across the province, moving in and out of everywhere, mostly living out of my car, attending national meetings, pretending to be important, celebrating an engagement, playing with my favourite nephew, and then flying off to Honduras!
As you may recall - last year I spent 10 days in Honduras on a medical trip. I was asked to fill in at the last minute for a doctor who dropped out, and I was lucky enough to be able to rearrange life and get this to work! So here I sit, surrounded by laundry, contemplating that really all I need is a passport, a stethoscope, a nalgene bottle, and a smile/good attitude.
You know... that could be my new motto for life.

You're headin to Honduras? When?
ReplyDeleteMike got me all excited about this windsurfing club he's a part of in Kingston so i might be spending a good chunk of June hangin' in your town... That is unless I'll be spending a good chunk of 2008,2009 & 2010 there too.
