For the most part I have a lot of patience at work. I can sit and listen to just about any story for about as long as it takes for that person to get it off their chest...but there are a few things that put that to the test. And as I learned last night - sexual health clinic is one of them.
For those of you that don't know - this is a free clinic where people can come for Pap smears, birth control, counselling, and testing/treatment for sexually transmitted infections. Fantastic service. But after about two hours I had the overwhelming urge to stand in the middle of the lobby, on a chair, and yell at the top of my lungs - JUST STOP HAVING SEX!!!!!!!!!! Stop doing it so much. Stop doing it without protection. And for pete's sake please stop doing it with people you don't even know.
I mean really - you've had 6 new partners in the last week and a half and now it hurts when you pee.....no kidding! I'm surprised you lasted the week and a half before that started happening! And the guy who says he goes for 'ugly chicks' cause they probably haven't been with many people, so they're less likely to have any disease....*insert appalled face here*...
At the end of the night there were a couple of incredibly attractive young men which got me jokingly thinking - why are all the hot men at STI clinic (which means in real life I wouldn't touch them with a ten foot pole)? And then I actually laughed out loud when I realized - clearly I am not the first women to think they are hot, and that is exactly what has gotten them into this trouble!
So here is my public service warning...my plea in fact....to all those I know and love - get a hobby. Get out of the house. Find all the fulfilling things in life, and realize how much you are loved so that you don't go out seeking attention in this way....cause when you find yourself with your pants around your ankles, pointing out where you saw a spot, and staring down the barrel of a liquid nitrogen gun aimed at your genitals.....you'll realize the sex wasn't worth it.
