In any case, my life seems to be filled with blessings and new beginnings these days. First and foremost my dad is out of the hospital, and seems to be on the mend. Thank you to everyone who has been praying and sending emails of support. My family and I would not have made it through without you. I considered posting a pic of my dad in his hospital pjs making faces at me to prove that he really is feeling better....but then I realized that someday he is going to be able to run again....and when he does he would chase me down!
Then of course there is my new little niece or nephew that is almost here. I spent almost my whole weekend making cakes for the baby shower.....cause I'm crazy like that. I can't possibly make just one simple cake, I have to make a whole big fancy design with all different fillings and icings. At least this time I didn't also make practice cakes :P
And finally, I am happy to report that I have a new home. As of May 15th (apart from graduation and some moving days) I will be living in Kingston, on the Cataraqui Creek. It doesn't look like anything special on the inside right now....but give it some new flooring, and a fresh coat of paint, and I will be very happy to call this home for the next couple years.
But of course, to be balanced I should probably mention the one new beginning that does not make me happy. Although I do love my new lappytop, cause it's sleek and light and wonderful....I would be quite happy to throw Vista off a large building, and then run down the stairs to stomp on it. Oh well. You can't have everything work out all at once, then you'd lose sight of how lucky you are.Lots of love
